Dr. Annese — Trusted Community Dentist

Your dental health, not a treatment plan, is always the priority.

We Want You as Our Patient — For Life

Full arch treatment is just one chapter. We're not looking for a single procedure — we're looking to earn your trust for a lifetime, from your first cleaning through the decades of care that follow.

Second Opinions Welcome

Not sure the treatment plan you've been given is right? We're happy to provide a full mouth evaluation and honest second opinion — no obligation.

We Only Recommend Full Arch When It's Right

Not every patient needs full arch. Dr. Annese fully evaluates your mouth and health before recommending any treatment, so the plan we give you is truly right for you.

Everything Is Made In-House

Our on-site lab, run by two dedicated technicians, handles milling, printing, fabrication, and adjustments right here — giving Dr. Annese direct, hands-on control over your final restoration.

No Compromises on Materials or Placement

Cheap materials and improperly placed implants can lead to implant failure, bone loss, chronic pain, and costly correction later. As a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Dr. Annese has placed thousands of implants and completes more than ten times the continuing education required to maintain his license — because your long-term health is worth more than a shortcut.

Meet Dr. Matthew Annese

Born and raised in Billerica. Trained to the highest standard in implant dentistry.

Dr. Annese attended Austin Preparatory School before earning an academic scholarship to Tulane University, graduating cum laude with dual majors in Neuroscience and Cell and Molecular Biology while helping New Orleans rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. He went on to Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, finishing in the top 10% of his class and receiving the Compassionate Care honor.

A MassPAT scholarship let him provide care to underserved patients in Dorchester before he purchased the Shirley office, creating Nashoba Valley Dental. Today his focus spans implantology — from single implants to All-on-4 and full arch — as well as veneers, smile makeovers, and sedation dentistry. He is frequently invited to lecture and train other doctors around the country, who regularly travel to his office to learn firsthand.

Outside the office, Dr. Annese is a devoted husband and father — coaching his son's t-ball and hockey teams, cheering on his daughter at dance practice, and enjoying skiing and travel with his family.

A Few Things Patients Ask

Questions we hear often

Why does the quality of materials and placement matter so much?

Full arch implants are meant to last a lifetime. Cheap materials or improper placement can lead to implant failure, bone loss, chronic discomfort, and costly corrective treatment later. We build every restoration to the standard we'd want for our own family.

I already have a treatment plan from another office. Can I get a second opinion?

Yes — we're happy to provide a full mouth evaluation and honest second opinion, no obligation. We want you to feel confident in whatever decision you make.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — in addition to third-party financing through Proceed and Cherry, we offer in-house financing to help make the right treatment accessible.

Is full arch right for me?

That's exactly what your evaluation is for. Dr. Annese will assess your specific case and recommend what's genuinely best for your health — whether that's full arch or another path entirely.

Will you be my dentist after treatment is complete?

Absolutely — that's the point. Dr. Annese and our team are committed to being your trusted dental home for comprehensive care long after your full arch journey is complete.

I'm anxious about dental visits. Do you offer sedation?

Yes — Dr. Annese is trained to provide both IV and oral conscious sedation, so patients who feel nervous or fearful about dental treatment can go through the process comfortably.

Considering Full Arch? Let's Talk Honestly.

Whether you already have a treatment plan from another office, or just want a second opinion from a dentist who treats you like family — we're here to help you make the decision that's right for your health.
